Year
2020

The project was driven by the need to refresh the farm’s identity — shifting from a children-oriented attraction to a mature, holistic experience of nature and tranquility.
The new website highlights the connection between people, animals, and the desert, inviting families, couples, and retreat groups to stay, breathe, and truly experience the place.

Concept
The design evokes the calm and openness of the farm - blending wide desert imagery, soft typography, and warm textures that capture its quiet spirit.

Applications
The visual language extended across the main website, tourism and educational pages, and incorporated historic drawings by the farm’s founders alongside modern design elements — bridging past and present.
Closing Thoughts
Designing for The Alpaca Farm was an opportunity to translate warmth, simplicity, and love into form, turning a website into a quiet encounter with desert calm and gentle care.

Design Principle
Roots and Memory
Original illustrations by Aryeh Dvir, the family’s grandfather, were woven into the design as a living tribute to the farm’s heritage, linking past and present, family and land.

Design Principle
Sense of Place
Expansive photography of the landscape, animals, and desert light evokes a deep sense of place, inviting visitors to slow down and breathe.

Design Principle
Warm, Storytelling Language
A hand-drawn typeface, paired with warm tones and personal text, gives the brand a human, handwritten voice — intimate and approachable.
